Civil Engineer

Your Responsibilities

• Planning and design including the preparation and review of design documents for new construction or renovation projects.
• Designing and overseeing the construction of infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet technical standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
• Conducting site assessments, performing hydraulic analyses, designing road alignments and stormwater collection systems, and coordinating with utility providers, all with a commitment to delivering sustainable and resilient infrastructure solutions.

Architectural Engineer

Your Responsibilities

• Interact with clients to collect information on design requirements for building projects and identify structural specifications, location and budget
• Identify/specify requirements for the project including cost estimates, materials, and assumed duration of construction
• Prepare proposals and deliver presentations to clients
• Offer recommendation to clients (internal and external) on suitable choice of design, considering set budget and preference

Technician – HVAC

Your Responsibilities

• Inspect HVAC-R systems and components to evaluate condition; identify necessary repairs and recommend preventive maintenance

കാൺപൂർ: ഇൻഡിഗോ വിമാനത്തിൽ എലിയെ കണ്ടെത്തിയതിനെത്തുടർന്ന് കാൺപൂരിൽനിന്ന് ഡൽഹിയിലേക്കുള്ള വിമാനം പുറപ്പെടാൻ മൂന്ന് മണിക്കൂറിലധികം വൈകി. 140 യാത്രക്കാരുമായി ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് 2:55-ന് പുറപ്പെടേണ്ടിയിരുന്ന വിമാനത്തിലാണ് സംഭവം. യാത്രക്കാർ വിമാനത്തിൽ കയറിയപ്പോൾ ഒരാൾ എലി ഓടുന്നത് ശ്രദ്ധയിൽപ്പെട്ടതിനെ തുടർന്ന് ജീവനക്കാരെ അറിയിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. സുരക്ഷാ മുൻകരുതലിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി യാത്രക്കാരെ ഉടൻ തന്നെ വിമാനത്തിൽനിന്ന് പുറത്തിറക്കി.

തുടർന്ന് ജീവനക്കാർ ഏകദേശം ഒന്നര മണിക്കൂറോളം എലിക്കായി തിരച്ചിൽ നടത്തി. ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് 2:55-ന് കാൺപൂരിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ട് 4:10-ന് ഡൽഹിയിലെത്തേണ്ടിയിരുന്ന വിമാനം വൈകീട്ട് 6:30-നാണ് യാത്ര പുറപ്പെട്ടത്. വിമാനം 7:16-ന് ഡൽഹിയിലെത്തി.

മറ്റൊരു സംഭവത്തിൽ, കഴിഞ്ഞയാഴ്ച മുംബൈയിൽനിന്ന് തായ്‌ലൻഡിലേക്ക് പോവുകയായിരുന്ന ഇൻഡിഗോയുടെ 6E 1089 വിമാനത്തിന് ബോംബ് ഭീഷണി ലഭിച്ചിരുന്നു. തുടർന്ന് വിമാനം ചെന്നൈ വിമാനത്താവളത്തിലേക്ക് തിരിച്ചുവിട്ടെങ്കിലും പിന്നീട് ഭീഷണി വ്യാജമാണെന്ന് കണ്ടെത്തി. വിമാനം ചെന്നൈയിൽ ഇറങ്ങിയ ഉടൻ സിഐഎസ്എഫ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ പരിശോധന നടത്തുകയും അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു.

കുവൈത്ത് സിറ്റി: കുവൈത്തിലെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ മന്ത്രാലയം 2025/2026 അധ്യയന വർഷത്തേക്ക് വിദേശ അധ്യാപകരെ നിയമിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള നടപടികൾ പുനരാരംഭിക്കാൻ ഒരുങ്ങുന്നു. സിവിൽ സർവീസ് കമ്മീഷൻ (സി.എസ്.സി) വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ മന്ത്രാലയത്തിന് ഇത് സംബന്ധിച്ച് നിർദ്ദേശം നൽകി. ശാസ്ത്ര, മാനവിക വിഷയങ്ങളിലായി ആകെ 324 അധ്യാപകരുടെ ഒഴിവുകളാണുള്ളത്.

ഒഴിവുകളും ആവശ്യകതയും:

നേരത്തെ, 776 അധ്യാപകരെ (401 പുരുഷന്മാരും 375 സ്ത്രീകളും) ആവശ്യമുണ്ടായിരുന്നെങ്കിലും, കുവൈത്തി അപേക്ഷകരിൽ നിന്ന് 726 പേരെ (178 പുരുഷന്മാരും 548 സ്ത്രീകളും) മാത്രമാണ് സി.എസ്.സി. തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തത്. ഇതിനെത്തുടർന്നാണ് ബാക്കിവരുന്ന 324 ഒഴിവുകളിലേക്ക് (236 പുരുഷന്മാരും 88 സ്ത്രീകളും) വിദേശ അധ്യാപകരെ നിയമിക്കാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചത്.

മത്സ്യബന്ധന സീസൺ ആരംഭിച്ചതിന് ശേഷം വിപണിയിലെത്തിയ 583.4 ടൺ മത്സ്യത്തിൽ 257.6 ടൺ (44.2%) പ്രാദേശിക മത്സ്യങ്ങളും ചെമ്മീനുമാണ്. ബാക്കി 325.8 ടൺ (55.8%) ഇറക്കുമതി ചെയ്ത മത്സ്യങ്ങളാണ്. വിപണിയിൽ ആവശ്യത്തിന് മത്സ്യം ലഭ്യമായതിനാൽ വില വലിയ തോതിൽ ഉയരാതിരിക്കാൻ ഇത് സഹായിച്ചു.
